I contributed about $600 to my Roth IRA in 2006. I don't get taxed on that do I? I heard I get a refund for 15% of that or something. Can someone please clear that up for me. Also, if it matters, I'm self-employed.

Thanks!

I became a Realtor in mid 2006, but did not make any money at all in 2006. I spent about 4,000 in marketing, fees, auto expenses, and other realted areas. I'm wondering with Taxcut, do I need to list this as a small personal business, or can I just list all these things under job related expenses? I'm not so much interested in which way is easier, as much as I honestly don't want to mess it up and get audited (that's a scarey thing). Any help would be great thanks.

I efiled using HR BLOCK's free federal preparation and opted for direct deposit, but into my fiancee's account since I don't have one. Now I read that the IRS generally won't do that unless its a joint return or other reasons and I am wondering what will happen now. Will they send me a check or some kind of letter saying it couldn't be deposited into an account that is not my own? CRAP! And how much longer of a wait are we talking here?
