Im wanting to start my own business an RV Park on a lake site somewhere in the state of Texas. If I charged $300 all bills included a month for 40 spaces at full capacity my gross income would be $144,000 a year.

My question is what would be my average percent of taxes each year on that business? Also are the property taxes separate or included in the business taxes? Lets say the property is 4 acres......

I don't know how to explain this too well, so bare with me...
Yanno, on your check stubs from your work how it subtracts your total pay because of state tax, and federal tax?!
I am really desperate to know where I can find out how much federal tax I pay from my weekly income.
Either please give me a website where I can find out how much of my pay goes to federal taxes, or give me cents per dollar taxes...

I live in Missouri, and our state tax is 7 cents to the dollar, I believe. :| (If I'm wrong, please correct me!)
I just wanted to know how many cents to the dollar I pay for federal taxes.

GREATLY appriciated!

My employer and I have the understanding that my gross will stay the same each bi-weekly check, but I want to make sure that she is taking out the right amount of taxes because I get paid by check and I don't get a paystub. She recently informed me that she has me claming my 2 kids and myself. It all seems confusing to me. I wanted to claim 0 dependents all year, so that the end of the year I would get back more money.
Can anyone give me a breakdown on the where my money goes and how much goes there,so that I know that my boss is not getting over on me. I would also like to know what the breakdown would be like if I claimed 0 dependents bi-weekly.

Thanks so much

I've never had a job.
I've heard that your taxes are taken out of your paycheck before you are paid. Then I know that people do their taxes once a year. But why do you taxes when taxes are taken out of your paycheck?
I still don't understand how taxes work.

I am trying to figure out how to back out taxes for gross receipt taxes. Yes I am well aware that there are notations/references across the internet. However these notations/references use a whole amount. I would like to know for the very specific amount of 6.875%. And if you have further info on backing out or even entering this info with a subtotal, etc. on a spreadsheet your assistance would be greatly appreciated. For example say the amount with tax = 975.00 how do you figure out the formula. I am thoroughly confused. Thank you kindly.

After 6 months I found out the company I have been working for were not submitting taxes on my wages. My salary showed net, but the company was pocketing the money that should have gone to state, city and federal branches. One I brought the findings to their attention I was soon fired claiming my position no longer remained. I can't even collect unemployement because there is no evience of me working. What does one do and what is the fastest way of me reporting this problem. At this time of the year work is hard to find and not being able to receive unemployment is a desaster.
Someone, please help me and point me in the right direction.....
