I'm From Washington State and I'm starting a online internet business . What states do I have to add taxes to by law?

For sales tax, you have to charge Washington sales tax. Also, you will need to charge sales tax in any other state that you actively solicit business. Actively solicit business means that you or anyone you hire works with your customers at the customer's location.

As far as sales taxes are concerned you only collect them for goods shipped to WA if WA has a sales tax.

The income is taxable both by your home state if it has an income tax and the Federal government.
