i have a 2007 nissan altima hybrid, and i readonline that hybrid cars are eligable for tax return. I am looking for that form !!! please help me find it!!! I live in NY

You can go to the IRS.gov (Web Site). The form that you will need is a 8910. I went on the site a couple of weeks and the 2006 version is still there. I too am waiting for the 2007 form to be available for downloading.

When did you buy the vehicle?
Was it new when you purchased it?
Are you using the car for personal/business use within the US?

Toyotas purchased after 9/30 no longer get a credit.
Honda's are now subject to a phase out.

The maximum credit on the 2007 Nissan Altima is $2350, but you must a) owe tax and b) not be subject to AMT to be able to use it.
