I file with HR Block, can I take my new W-2 and file again, or do I have to wait until next year. And if I am able to file it, will I be able to use my 2 children again?

You will have to file an amended return for the 2006 tax year.

You will not be able to claim your children again. They will amend your return. It will probably push the cost up $3, due to an extra W2.

The bad thing is if they have already sent it to the IRS you will have to wait 2 weeks before they can amend it, and then send it again. You can take them the W2 and drop it off at anytime and they will keep it in your file until they can amend and resend it.

You need to file it this year. Go back to H&R Block and tell them you need to revise your return. Every one who has to send you a form for anything doesn't have to until Feb. 15. So if you think there is an interest statement or something else wait until then or you'll be doing this three times.

if you worked 2 jobs in 2006, you need to include both w-2s in your earnings. You need to go back there and have them file an amended return for you. You'll still be eligible for earned income credit and taking them as deduction.

yes you cantake and file it however, you will have a penality, also you can not put your dependents on it,it will have to be done alone and it will cost you.i believe you can file it on next years.i had the same thing happen to me last year and i wound up paying in because of the penality.
