I worked for a school taking photographs (by myself) and they gave me a check for approx. $2000.00. Do I also have to file this with my state and local tax offices?

There's no such thing as "W9" income. Form W9 is used to request your SSN or TIN from you. One may have been requested in order to cut a 1099MISC form to report that income.

You definitely need to report it on your Federal taxes. As to State and local, check with the taxing authorities. Most states follow Federal rules fairly closely if only for simplicity so you probably do have to include it in your State and local tax returns.

Yes, you should get a 1099 for that, and would have to include it in your PA state and local income whether you get a 1099 or not.

till you identify criminal TX place of abode, PA will proceed to tax your wages. except you're a pupil attending college removed from homestead or are in the militia, your abode replaced to TX once you arrived. you have 30 days to get a TX license and tags on your motor vehicle.
