I want to start my business making wedding gowns and would like to do it initially from home due to my limited resources. Considering I don't have a store front, or a big marketing budget, any ideas on where I can find customers? I thought about going to where people get marriage licenses but I doubt they will give me any info, much less name of people I can contact.

Should I report this company?

I just do not feel comortable working there any more since I have noticed that those girls who work in the production side are all illegal immigrants. They hire them through the hiring agent. On the company record, the same people have been working for years, by using the same names and the SS#.

Plus, I have been telling the customers that our products are built in our facility, but we purchase the products mostly from the Chinese supplier, because it is cheaper than building in a house.

What would you say?

I have joined with data entry sites and home survey sites and found that they want you to get your own website and generate traffic and make money from being an affiliate. This may be all good and well but I have no one to refer and cant afford to spend money to get traffic to my site, hence the job hunting in the first place. I have been ripped off every time I have tried to make some cash to make ends meet for myself and my 3 children under 5 and just want a legit way to make some money whilst looking after my children.

I have mad a Paypal account and live in Canada. I want to know how to make money by doing surveys and stuff like that that just sends you the money to your account. I dont want to give my postal code and information like that, just sending the money to my Paypal account and could you recommend a good site to make money easily that works if you live in Canada, cause most are like that. They don't let you go on if you live in Canada and the websites scan where you live before even entering the site so please recommendations...... Thank you

Hi, I bought some brand named shirts on Ebay this morning using paypal & my visa debit card, and was doing some reading here on yahoo and ebay about 'fake' items. I am scared that the item might be fake/pirated or impersonations (whatever you want to call them). The $$ has been deducted from my bank but is at a pending status. The bank told me to wait til I get the items and then if I decide to dispute it afterwards, to do a claim with them. They suggested I contact seller too to see if they will do a refund too before going to bank. I am new to Ebay so would like your imput & how to do this. How can I cancell my purchase. Do i go through ebay or paypal? any 800 #'s out there as I was not able to find one. PS. I got some print out of ways to tell if shirts are fake or not. At home, I have authentic shirts and could use those guidelines to check for shirts but I havent received the shirts yet and wont for a few days yet, I imagine. thanks in advance

One of the head partners wants to use Access to manage his clients/matters, etc. I think he is starting to perceive the program as a sort of fix-all to his current state of disorganization.

Has anyone used MS Access to help organize the inner-workings of a law firm? And if so, do you have any advice about its use?

I am currently a junior at Villanova and I narrowed my choices down to 2 majors but I do not know which way to go. I was considering becoming a CPA, but people tell me the job is very tedious and "boring" with average pay.
Finance on the other hand is harder to find a job but more interesting and you get to travel.
What do you think?
Major in finance and minor in Accounting or vice versa?

could someone educate me on this. I have two rental property and one extremely small vending machine business.
I need a truck to do the run around, ie fixing problem for tenants and refill vending machines.
the allowance for mileage just can't add up! Can I buy or lease the truck/van under my registered business name and write off the payments? As I also have a job and I pay lots of tax. Can't I not get my money back for my car payments?
Thanks alot in advance for your business sound answers!

Even if they have a warehouse, they have to stock it from somewhere, so do they order directly from manufacturers, are their vendors for retailers? I'm talking about stores that sell new items, like target, kmart, or smaller stores, but not stores that sell overstocked/returned merchandise.

VIEW ONE: Shareholders bear the risks and should have the final say on how public companies are run.

VIEW TWO: Modern competitive conditions require a 'stakeholder' approach to running public companies.

VIEW THREE: The only way business and communities can develop together is if businesses are owned and run by the communities they are in.
