I have recently started a t-shirt design business and popularity is slowly but steadily growing. I do all the artwork by hand and as most young entrepreneurs starting out I wear all the hats myself not excluding all sales, marketing and the like. My question concerns my undertaking of marketing to retail. My designs are urban and religious themed and I have decided to first target religious based bookstores for my religious designs since I feel more comfortable in that market at least for building experience. I am fairly good at sales but I want to make sure my planning is throrough enough to get the most from the sale or the experience. I was wondering if any skilled entrepreneur had sound insight on planning and execution as far as contacting, presentation, closing and any details in between.
