The easiest and cheapest way to prevent a bank from being robbed, is to train your employees to pay attention to what is going on around them. When a robber enters a bank to rob it, they want to get in, get the money, and get out without attracting attention. If employees are consistantly greeting customers as soon as they enter, that tends to scare away would be crooks, because now they can be recognized easier.
