Besides the cost of the truck itself, do they make a good living, or just enough to get by?

Everything depends on where you are and what is happening around where you are. If no other trucks are going to a site then yes maybe you can make good money if enough people have to use the truck to eat. If you don't have to pay the contractor to park on "his site". If you have a good location, fees are not to high, health inspection are not too bad, etc. all these things cost money and can change often. It is really a roller coaster ride for someone in this business.

Hi there,

I know our local provider, they have 3 trucks, do very well out of it.
WE have also just started being called on by a new espresso van which goes around all the office's. They make fantastic coffee's, and judging by how popular they look i think they will do well.

Cheers, ToNy!
