Small Business - August 2006

I am a C.O.O(chief operations officer) against a VP Sales with an ego. I don't jump when he needs something like I do with my boss. He is a whiner and I'm to just "handle the situation". Many sit downs, but no resolution. He does not like to play nice in the sandbox type. It's exhausting and he complains to my boss all the time. I just do my job. How do I detour this from my boss, so he doesn't have to soothe egos so the company can run without dismissing my associate from his position. I'm the company man, he's the company girl(no offensive to women - he's just catty and causes trouble) I'm not the only one he targets - its mainly women. How can I get to a respectable level without causing my boss to have an ulcer - We NEED to work together.

a name containing ****, *****, dick, rape, etc. Would a bank grant an account and print checks (with the name, of course) if your business had such a name? Is there a program to print checks designed by oneself-checks which backgrounds would be pornography-.that would link to the latter bank account?

I would like to start a fund raiser but have very little money does anyone know of anything I could sell through the mail with out any face to face contact only mail and phone that I could do for $20 dollars or less. I'm looking to sell something that is in demand and cheap to buy that people would be willing to order through the mail. I would be willing to spend up to $50 dollars any money making ideas?

Well , I want to get extra bucks each month , I heared I can launch my e-store and advertise for it and that is it ..
But where to get the stuffs to sell to my custmoers ....( I heared about wholesalers but i don't know any thing about them)? ..how to ship to my cutomers...???? what is my profit as they might be better go to the source and by at same price ...what ..what...what...many questions with no answer...I just know that building an e-store and advertising it ...is it!! but i don
't know the steps ,, even one step....I don't even know which phrase to search in google with to gain extra information about that!!

recently went through a long dragged out divorce and finally i'm divorced. 22 years of marriage down the drain -- time to restart, reboot, whatever. at one time i looked at the possibility of becoming a wedding planner and things happened with my own marriage that i did not pursue it.

now i want to reverse all that and start my own business as a divorce party planner. i know you can get party favors online for divorce parties, i'm friendly with couple of banquet managers,
and even contacted independent strippers for doing parties. what do you people think -- should i give it a shot?
