I reccomend Going to http://www.myproducts.co.uk and starting an eShop easily, then find the exact wholesale products you need from massive wholesale directories like http://www.wholesale2uk.com or http://www.0wholesale.co.uk - If they have the product you are looking for then sign up and get the suppliers details. Thats what I do, I might quit my job soon!!!

ok,
I may be able to help a little bit if you know how to use oscommerce.
step one:
You need a server or a host provider:
Powweb.com is good or Gatorhost.com
Second:
Powweb and gatorhost have installable cart scripts you can use.
third:
Add your products and business information in were needed.

Now as products go SMCorp.com has good products and also includes dropshipping with you business info. on it

now the search engine part is were someone else has to help you lol not good with that I will also watch this post to see if there is any information on adding to search engines.

You may want to step back and start with developing an overall business plan. A good starting point is to view the fee on-line courses at http://www.va-interactive.com/score/ . Then you can move on the specifics of how to launch an on-line store.

Look at Amazon Z-Shops for a free and easy way to start. Its not Amazons top priority, but when you search for old books and such, sometimes the z-shops appear.

Ebay has storefront too but cost a bunch.
