recently went through a long dragged out divorce and finally i'm divorced. 22 years of marriage down the drain -- time to restart, reboot, whatever. at one time i looked at the possibility of becoming a wedding planner and things happened with my own marriage that i did not pursue it.

now i want to reverse all that and start my own business as a divorce party planner. i know you can get party favors online for divorce parties, i'm friendly with couple of banquet managers,
and even contacted independent strippers for doing parties. what do you people think -- should i give it a shot?

I certainly wouldn't limit your offerings to just divorce parties - not everyone is as happy as you were! Offer other types of parties, but certainly a "Just Divorced" theme might differentiate your business from other party planners.

I think it is a great party idea . 50% of people who get married this year will be divorced in 3 years so there is alot of repeat business possibilities too .Have nude studs for the divorcee party and strippers for the mal divorcees and have a good old time .

Sounds like a potentially lucrative business...only one problem...If you get screwed like I did, you won't be able to afford much more than beer and cheetos!
