My husband and I dont make too much money, probably about $60K combined, and have no kids. We want to purchase a home ASAP. How did any homeowners out there know when they were ready to make that step?

I am renting a mobile home and was informed yesterday that my rent will be increased from 485 to 800 effective 10/1/06. Shouldn't a person be given notice, especially when you are informed about the increase 9 days before the rent is due?

I was wondering if anyone that is renting in an apartment complex can give me a heads up of where I should look on the internet, what are the better neighborhoods, what is the going rate of an apartment over 600 square feet. Where is Bellvue AZ from Phoneix, What is the traffic like, weather, is there anyway that we can get low income or subsides for a student going to school? I will be relocating there soon. Thanks a head of time for your help.

I have been searching the internet for property out of state. I contacted an agent by phone and he called me back. I have several questions petaining to the property, and he said that he would get back to me. He sent an email stating that he has not forgot but business has picked up.
I saw the same property on another site, if I contact the second agent would that cause a problem if I would purchase this house.

I signed a lease at an apartment complex. They changed who managed it 2 times. My original lease ran out for a 12 month period then goes to a month to month lease. The new management wants me to sign a new lease. I don't want to because I plan on moving out of state and don't want to be stuck in a 12 month contract. I know that they have to honor the previous lease regardless if they wrote it or not (they already tried to get me on that on). But they did say that it was illegal to be on a month to month in a rent controlled complex. I am not sure to believe them on this because I think they are just trying to get me in on the other lease. Is it illegal for a rent controlled apartment to be on a monthly lease?

I currently own a mobile home on rented land in West Chester, PA. I want to sell the mobile home so that my son and I can move back in with my family. The problem is, that the mobile home is old. It is a 1979 and needs some updating. Unfortunately I do not have the money to do the cosmetic repairs. The things that I believe need done in order to sell would be to replace the kitchen cabinets, replace stove and fridge and replace the carpeting. All are in ok and working order but they are old and kind of “cruddy” now. I need to get $11500.00 out of the sale in order to pay off my mortgage. Any suggestions on how this can be done? I’d like to not involve a realtor, as I do not have the extra funds to pay the realtor. I had thought of calling one of those investment companies that buys properties and then fixes them up and resells them but I haven’t found one yet that will buy a mobile home. I’ve also tried calling the people that own the land (mobile home park) that i live on.

My friends are trying to sell their house but I believe they are asking to much. Yes the house is pretty and huge but I don't think it will sell. They are trying to move and buy another house but need to sell this one first. Any Ideas besides just letting the real state lady do her thing. They really want to sell ASAP.

Few of the tenants are reporters and so no one is willing to co-operate. He has requested several times to vacate but no results. Please advice a legal way to resolving this situation . What are his options?

I was purchasing a home, We set up the escrow on a good faith judgement. Our home inspector told US, that the repairs where major. The clause "was anything over 1000 dollars " We could back out.. We did. Now the owners wont give US our money back.. Any idea? They already sold the house to someone else. AND WONT STILL SIGN OFF. This is a legal document. A good faith escrow. Any ideas? I have called months now.and still nothing. Ive been told this happens alot. and sometimes the money sits in accounts for years. THIS IS WRONG! what laws protect the buyer. and why did we have a good faith document. But On the end of the buyers there is no timelimit. Im upset. and want my money back! Help help help.
P.S. Ive been told that I might be able to get my home inspection back on failure to disclose. "they knew the house needed major repairs!" A Insured inspector, our realtor, and bank told us not to buy it. Now we cant get the money back!

I am looking for an apartment and have applied at several of them. After the 2nd one, it dawned on me that to many inquiries is bad for your credit score, so I figured I"ll just bring it in to them that way I won't have so many hits. Does anybody know what they can and can't do. thanx
