I currently own a mobile home on rented land in West Chester, PA. I want to sell the mobile home so that my son and I can move back in with my family. The problem is, that the mobile home is old. It is a 1979 and needs some updating. Unfortunately I do not have the money to do the cosmetic repairs. The things that I believe need done in order to sell would be to replace the kitchen cabinets, replace stove and fridge and replace the carpeting. All are in ok and working order but they are old and kind of “cruddy” now. I need to get $11500.00 out of the sale in order to pay off my mortgage. Any suggestions on how this can be done? I’d like to not involve a realtor, as I do not have the extra funds to pay the realtor. I had thought of calling one of those investment companies that buys properties and then fixes them up and resells them but I haven’t found one yet that will buy a mobile home. I’ve also tried calling the people that own the land (mobile home park) that i live on.

A free for sale by owner site such as fsboTimes Real Estate will allow you to sell your mobile home without paying any fees. Maybe you can sell it as is or maybe you can make some of the repairs at little or no cost. Good luck.

Atlantic city may well be the quickest to get to considering that its promptly down the freeway. that is going to take approximately an hour and 0.5, however the seashores there are purely so-so. Ocean city (esp the south end of city, previous thirty fourth highway) has the excellent seashores on the Southern Jersey shore, IMHO, and its purely yet another 10-quarter-hour south of Atlantic city. that could be a dry city, meaning no alcohol, yet you may't have alcohol on any Jersey coastline. in case you want to occasion interior the night, purely head over to Somers element to the west, Sea Isle to the south or Margate to the north - all have lots of bars and golf equipment. Ocean city, Maryland is a good distance a good distance - might take you in all probability approximately 3 hours. in case you do take thepersistent to the Jersey Shore interior the summertime, attempt to circumvent going Friday night around 6-7pm and Saturday around 10am-2pm - that is while all human beings else is going and the site visitors would be undesirable.
