I want to refi my house that we bought at $184,000 at 7.875%
it was fixed for 2 years and now will go up to 10.875%

Now, I have a $15,000 second mortgage that I accumulated from not having a job and misc expenses.
I want to combine them together.
I also want to add my $28,000 federal student loan at 6%
and my other private school loan of $12,000 at 13.25%
to the refi. I also have a credit card of $4,000 @ 8.99% fixed that I wouldn't mind adding to the refi as well.

First of all, Is this possible if my home is only appraised at $209,000 right now? And second, should I add these all together?

I would love to have one bill. All these payments are killing me.
Need your advice...
And if I should refi them all together, what companies have you been successful with for loans?

After much unhappiness with a crappy bank, I opened a new account elsewhere and began depositing all of my money there. I had a tiny bit remaining in the old account, and decided to spend most of it, and unfortunately, in the process of this, became overdrawn by $7. I quickly corrected the issue, paid the insufficient funds charge, and am now ok. However, I want to just officially close the account. Could this hurt my credit score? Should I keep the account open, put some money in, and incur some 'good behavior' instead of just closing it so soon after being overdrawn, even by a small amount for only a few days? I don't want my credit score to suffer! Thank you!

What are the repercussions when a person retires & collect social security benefits, then goes back to the work force full time to supplement their income. I know that a person can earn 10/11k per year, but what happens when you surpass the amount allowed the government?

I am looking to earn the most amount if interest possible bc I am trying to save up for an upcoming move overseas. I have around 8 months or so to save. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you so much!!

I received an email from a guy in Nigeria, and I didn't fall for it, since I know about this scam, but it really concerns me that these guys are still on the loose hunting people, because I've read and seen the "supporting papers" that these scammers use to fool their victims.
Please tell me How to identify email scams? And, how can we fight againts these kind of frauds?

So I was stupid and found this guy on Craigslist who needed someone to help list his stuff on Ebay in the US because he was in the UK. He had an electronics company which I looked up and saw the website, etc, and it looked pretty legit to me. So I listed and sold two items, money goes to my paypal, then my bank. I take my cut and then am told to send the rest via Western Union to them asap. They tell me I must do it in cash at a location, I can't do it with a debit card. For one, I have never taken out more than like 300 bucks from my bank before, and two, at the start of this whole thing they didn't mention Western union or I would have said no. I know thats a prime scamming red flag. What should I do now????

Sort of a strange question I guess. I already have a house that I live in. I want to buy another house, as an investment. I don't want to pay very much monthly at all. (interest only?). I have excellent credit. Would it be bette rto try to buy a building (3 flat or duplex) and have the tenants make the payments? (provided I have tenants). Ideally I'd buy another house that I can move into now and keep my current house till the market gets better for sellers. ok, long winded I know. Any suggestions on how to do this with no money down?

I was asked by a on line friend to forward some monies onto them from her Aunt. Her Aunt could not do this as she was out of the country. Monies was credited to my account via bank transfer and I checked that this money was available. I duly sent this money on. 4 days after this my account was frozen as they suspected fraud.

I have supplied documents to this effect but the bank refuses to un freeze the account. Where do I stand if this was a fraudulent transfer seeing that the monies have been sent on.

For the four years we were together, I lent him money, and occasionally, he'd pay it back. When we moved out of state, I put him under my credit and let him use the card with his name so that he could buy things he needed. however, he racked up the credit card, and left me owing $2400. I've been struggling to make the payments every month, and now with school starting, I can barely pay as it is.
He answered my emails (ie= myspace) that he would pay it back, but it's been a year and nothing. He moved back to CA, and I am now in Texas. WTH do I do??
