Err. From what I can understand from that, you're in debt and want to know how to improve your situation?

First of all, you can't blame your bank or credit card company for putting you into debt. They didn't force you to use a credit card.

A general rule of thumb is don't spend money you don't have.

Secondly, don't get into further debts to pay-off your current ones. "Debt consolidation" and "Debt management" services do just that. Stay clear of them.

Anyway, a good place to start would be your local Citizens Advice Bureau. They will be able to offer you help or put you in touch with someone who can.

UPDATE: I made the following comments about an answer which has since been removed. I assume it was because i was right ;)

DO NOT RESPOND TO MARK J. THAT HAS 'SCAM' WRITTEN ALL OVER IT:
- HE SIGNED-UP TO YAHOO ON 15TH AUGUST (CHECK HIS PROFILE) PROBABLY AFTER SEEING YOUR POST AND THINKING "HERE'S A VULNERABLE PERSON I CAN RIP-OFF"
- THE EMAIL ADDRESS PROVIDED IS A FREE YAHOO EMAIL ADDRESS WHICH COULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO TRACE TO A REAL PERSON. ANY REPUTABLE COMPANY WOULD HAVE A VALID, BRANDED EMAIL ADDRESS
- A REPUTABLE COMPANY WOULDN'T TRAWL THROUGH Y! ANSWERS LOOKING FOR CUSTOMERS

JUST DO NOT RESPOND TO HIM!!

NEVER ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE THIS SORT OF ISSUE WITH A "COMPANY" THAT YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF AND HAS NO REPUTATION.

No, a private credit card bank did not make you a cheeter; you made you a cheeter. A private credit card bank afforded you an opportunity to choose to make a decision. YOU chose to open an envelope that gave you a choice to accept an opportunity to get a credit card rather than shred that envelope before even opening it like most of us do. Then you chose to either call a toll free number, or logged into a www website or mailed a completed paperwork in that postage prepaid envelope that was conveniently provided for you. Then when that nifty little card came in the mail, you went out and looked at a whole lot of stuff that you COVETED in your heart and paid for with that card (the same as cash). You are enjoying all of that stuff that you thought you could not live without.

My suggestion: While all of that stuff is residing in your house, you get a job at night and on the weekends IN ADDITION TO THE JOB YOU HAVE DURING THE WEEK until that credit card is paid off. You got yourself in this mess. Suck it up and be a man and get yourself out. You know, I'm a 57 yr old woman & I'm getting really sick and tired of wimpy men.

AND DESTROY ALL CREDIT CARDS UNTIL YOU KNOW HOW TO HANDLE YOUR FINANCES RESPONSIBLY!!!

No, Private credit card bank did not make you a cheeter. You made you a cheeter. And now you need to deal with it.

As others have suggested you need to work several jobs to make the money to pay it off.

First thing you should do is call Sears and ask when the car will be done. Then tell your wife to put a hold on the mail. Clean the pool, mow the lawn and get a hair cut. You can't take a knife on the plane so leave it at home. I've sent a taxi to pick you up. Please leave the dog at home this time. If the Taxi's not there in 15 minutes keep waiting.

Yes, use a spellchecker or learn better english, if it is not your original language, then try another yahoo answers area, like france or spain or somewhere which may understand you better.

Please use the spell check so we can understand your problem. If you are in debt and they want their money, tear up your credit cards and start making monthly payments.
