No, has to be done thru the bank. They wont give you that info.

To be on Telecheck's "List" You would need to have outstanding checks that "bounced" from another bank account. That's all Telecheck keeps track of.
You would know about those already...

Telecheck is NOT the only company bankers consult. There are several "reporting agencies" that banks report thier list of closed accounts to & the reason they are closed. So if someone has an account closed by one bank for constantly "bouncing" checks, the other banks will know that is what the person does.

Some banks recently have begun putting Credit History into thier new account approval process. So it may be a good idea to check your Credit report as well (By law it's free once a year form EACH reporting agency).
