I am getting married this fall, I have charge card bills and want to know if new husband will be legally responsible for these bills because we have gotten married, as I incurred these bills before we even knew each other. I want to take care of these bills on my own.

So...does anyone out there have any suggestions about what sort of savings plan can yield the most amount with just a little bit invested to begin with? Does something like that even exist?? Does it really "take money to make money"?

Not that I have large amounts of money, but I wondered...what should one do if they have millions of dollars and FDIC only insures $100,000USD. If they are retired for example, and looking for a low maintenance account with relatively high return.

Also if you ask a question as a reply, please check this question as I will update it to answer those as best I can.

Would he and his brother be liable for their debts? They own a house and hopefully will have SOME equity in it before this were to happen which would HOPEFULLY pay off the house and any fixes required when selling a home, but I truly doubt they will have enough to pay any outstanding credit card debt, car loans that are upside down, etc. Does that become our responsibility?

I am really not trying to be morbid or disrespectful. I really love my in-laws, they just are really bad with money and I worry that we "kids" will have to end up paying for their mistakes.

Especially to those recommending a loan lender to those in need, I noticed that most of them have never posted any questions before just answers and yet some claimed that they obtain the loan from here. How much have you paid and in how many payments before u obtain the loan?

To Loan Lenders, why is it they you are never able to be downright honest with the whole transactions? Examples, Non Collateral Fees, Bank Transfer Charges, Bank Details and Contact Person, Company Profile, Proper Documentation for loan agreement both from your Company and the bank or IMF for that matter. And why is it that you can't provide the actual upfront payment involved in securing the loan? It's always payments after payments but the loan never seems to be delivered. And when asked for confirmation or clarification, u get angry and threatened to cancel the loan. Are all the Loan Lenders out there FOR REAL? What should I look for in a true, genuine, honest and reliable Loan Lender?

I moved jobs for the first time and found out that I could rollover my old 401k into a rollover IRA and can now invest in stocks. Should I be aggressive in my investments? On the one hand, I am 30+ years from retirement and I don't have to pay capital gains, so I can buy and sell at will. On the other hand, this is my retirement money (although only a small amount of my retirement money since I'm still contributing to my current job's 401k).

What are best practices with rollover IRA accounts?

I started the 401k with my employer about 6 months ago. I have had questions about it though so I've been asking my employer for something detailing all the info. I have asked several times and received nothing. The 401k is set up through a third party company, but on their website under "detailed information about your plan" it refers me to my employer. I keep asking and asking but getting nothing. I initially just wanted to know how long the vesting period is (which I now know) but I don't see why I can't get a detailed pamphlet outlying my plan. Is it required?
