I'm changing employers and submitting my two weeks notice soon. I think some people at work will be rude to me, cause I'm leaving. Should I stay the full two weeks or just leave after submitting the notice?

Complete 2 weeks because you may need them as a job reference in the future.

Allways finish out your 2 weeks. Most people will not be rude actually they may call you the short timer as a fun good-bye. I have several employees and I give great recomendations to my employees when they leave for future employment. When people leave their current employer for what ever reason that usually means they are growing in a positive direction. Even if you were terminated a new door would open for you.

Good luck

If you want a good recommendation, I would stay the full two weeks. It doesn't guarantee they will say good things about your employment, but they can't lie. And the last thing you want them NOT to tell anyone else, is that you left without notice, which they could say if you left before the two weeks, regardless. Understand? Good Luck!

Leave with class, not like an ***.
Two weeks is the standard. Give 2 wks notice.

You'll be surprised. Most people will be pleasant towards you. Expect a lot of questions about where you're going, what you'll be doing, etc. and most people will wish you well.
There's always some jerks, buy you can deal with that.

Its always a good idea to stay the two weeks unless your employer tells you otherwise. You may want to use them as a reference and its always better not to burn your bridges. Also its good karma, you never know when you will be the employer in the reverse situation.

It may be difficult but work the full 2 weeks - it will look better to your next employer.

Stay the two weeks and be polite and professional. Do not bad-mouth your company or its employees. Don't worry about anyone else-just stay professional and keep your mouth under control. Never burn your bridges with your jobs.

It is between you and your boss. But it is professional to give a two week notice. If co-workers are rude, first write down the details, then give the details to your boss and to their boss. And ask your boss if he will let you leave early. .... But don't anticipate rude behavior until it happens and you can document it.
