I have never missed a payment, never overdrawn. This months bill just came in and they jacked the apr to 31.24%. I mean WTF is that? They will not even discuss it. I think I will max it tomorrow and file chapter 7 on them Monday. Grrrr, bastards. Anyone else having trouble with greedy bastards like this.

Im sure some of the creditors who call the debtors are subject to much verbal abuse I was probably one of those debtors. If you as a creditor could have the power to punish us for 1 hr in you fantasy world how would you do it? jail a beating maybe ? remember its just for an hr. i personally have straightened myself out

I'm contemplating on swtching to capital one from my current credit card but my friend told me not to. They said once I applied with Capital One, they mess around with my credit scores. I have an excellent credit scores and am thinking on getting a new car here pretty soon and a house next year. So I don't really want to risk jeopardizing my credit scores just for it. However Capital has credit card withan awesome APR and benefits compare to my current ones. Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

A while back, I settled for less than the full balance with Capital One and am considering now paying them the remaining balance in order to improve my credit score a bit. The dilemma is this: while the remaining balance is only about $135, I'm considering leaving it alone because the derogatory comment will come off as of November 2007. So I'm thinking that, if I pay this, by the time it's actually updated on my credit report, it will only be about 9 months earlier than if I had just waited. Also, the Capital One rep said that paying it in full would NOT re-age the debt, which was a consideration. I guess it comes down to whether or not I'm willing to pay some cash to improve my score a little sooner.

I have a auto reposession on my credit report as a result of a bad divorce. The loan was joint. He was court ordered responible but never paid and the creditors don't care about court orders. Therefore, I have tried to negotiate to get this off my credit but the best they will do is a little less than half of the balance. The will accept that and list it as paid and settled in good standing but will not remove the late payments or the word "repossession". Is it worth it to pay this under these circumstances. I am trying to get a mortgage and need to know if this will help or will I be paying this debt for nothing when I could wait 3 more years and have it off my credit.

Is Capital One a good place to get your first credit card or New Millennium Bank.
New Millennium Bank Offers me a master card and a visa with a credit limit of 10,000 - 5,000 for visa and 5,000 for master card. Capital One one the other hand does not tell me my credit limit untill after I apply but it guaranties at least $300 minimum.
I have a card from sony financial my limit with them is 600 but i could only but sony stuff or sound system stores that accept it so i realy dont cout that one. Or should I?

I am trying to buy a home in an effort to get my children out of the country ghetto. I want my son to see something other than drunks and druggies along with deadbeat daddies. my girls need to experience something other than babysitting their friend's children because I won't allow them to go out on Saturdays while their friend's mothers do not care. I messed up my credit right out of high school and have not been able to turn it around until now but my credit score is still so low that I just can not get any help.

I am interested in finding a credit repair company that has proven to have a very positive impact on your credit score. I know that the best way is to do it yourself so I would not like to hear responses from people who have no actual company in mind. Thank you.
