Can anybody give advice on what is fun but also beneficial?

I want to apply for Program Officer in the United Nations in Thailand (My home country).

I am 22 years old. I have been studying a BA and a MPA degree in the U.S. I will have a Master in Public Administration in May. However, I do not have enough work experience for this position (or other postions) in the areas of study.

Most jobs require 5-10 years experiences.

Should I give it a shot anyway?

Thank you very much for your kindness.

I am training someone at work, I am a senior member of staff. The manager has appointed me to train the new member of staff.

We work in a call centre so I have to pretend I am on the phone with the new person.

I am advising the person what to say and this other member of staff next to me is butting in telling me what the new person should say instead.

I stopped and said to this insolent person, to do it herself if she thinks she is better than me!

She has done this all morning!

What do you think of this

It's a fairly well known firm and one staffing agency mentioned there might be some issues with possible employers thinking that I might jump ship *if* the firm were to hire full-time. This staffing agency seems to have dropped me!

But in my eyes, nothing is set in stone and I shouldn't have to worry that my freelance gig is stopping me from finding a better full-time job. But now after this I do wonder how to answer employers about the current freelance position.

Any help appreciated.

So I interviewed with this company. The first time I interviewed with 5 different people and I know it went well. When I came back the second time to interview with the VP and the Director one of the guys said that he knew I got good feedback from everyone before. Well I clammed up in my interview with the VP. It didn't go horrible but it didn't go wonderful. But I did say some good things. However, the job is posted again on their website and on Hotjobs. They haven't told me that I didn't get the job yet. Could they be doing this to find more candidates and make sure that I am a good fit or do I not have the job? I hate job searching.

I already work through a non-union contractor at various plants. But all plants don't use non-union contractors. Some plants that I really want to work will only accept union people. I have talked to a couple of the Locals in my area and no one gets me or they say it's no work available. I want to work at a power plant in California but it's union only. I am a laborer.....What do I do?Do I necessarily have to join a union in my area? How does it all work? Help please (-:

I just accepted an IT PM job, 3 weeks into it, and I feel like a deer lost in the headlights. I have PM experience and tech experience on the infrastructure side, but not app dev. Well, this PM job is all about dev projects and tying it all together, also doing financial stuff and other things that I have little experience with, and I feel lost. I am trying to just listen and learn and know that it will take time but I still feel lost and incompetent. Any words of wisdom?

This is probably a long shot but I figured I may as well try. I'm a college senior looking for internships and then a job in the advertising field. Can someone please take a look at my resume and provide me with some feedback before I start sending it out? If you could message me on how to get it to you I would greatly appreciate it and I promise I will not harass you with emails in the future.

I tend to get really depressed at work. I don't have any friends at work, and I'm probably going to lose my job late this year or early next year. I don't like what I do. I'm looking for a new job. Once 5:30 rolls around, I feel okay again. Anyone else experience the same thing?
