I live in the UK, and have to do work experience in Lincolnshire. I have already decided what I am going to do, but my best friend Elizabeth is undecided.

Can anybody give advice on what is fun but also beneficial?

First, it should be your friend doing the asking, not you. For all you know, she's considering her options, and simply hasn't told you.

Second, you shouldn't mention people's names; it's not only unnecessary (we don't know her, but it might be embarrassing for her).

Third, work experience is not meant to be "fun". You are supposed to learn, and, in some cases, even make a small wage, if not or on top of class credit. Work is what you make of it; if you have a good attitude, then that, alone, might make work more enjoyable.

Fourth, nobody can give you or your friend advice without knowing you, personally.

Fifth, ask your parents and teachers for guidance.

Sixth, you may have received more responses if you combined the vague "Work experience" question with the "Can anybody..." detail, as "Can anybody give advice on a fun and beneficial work experience in Lincolnshire?" Many people avoid vague/inane questions. Luckily for you, I didn't! ;)

Cheers!
