I am interested in becoming a school counselor who works with children or teens. The kind that goes to classrooms to do activities or monitor children and things such as that.

At the University here they offer a Master's in school counseling..is this the same hting or is that for guidance counseling only, do you think?

I'm not sure what to do a BA in but thinking Counseling. Anyone know the salary?

Many school counselors have degrees in social work or psychology. Talk to the university about what type of careers their graduates end up with who get the Masters in school counseling. Salaries vary depending on the schools and your location. However, it usually is not a very high salary compared to doctors and lawyers.
