I'm going to go with the teacher, the almost always make a lot less and have to put up with a lot more to make a connection and help people. While a nurse might see someone for only a few hours or days.

What are your thoughts?

I started working with a company that has forged my name on several documents. I've been told that its all legal because whoever commits the forgery puts their initails beside it which means it was signed by someone else. I have never given this company permission to do this and I think its illegal....I don't care if they initial beside it in blood. I don't even get copied on these forged documents.

I'm trying to prepare for what is basically the job interview of a lifetime. A friend of mine recommended bringing a reference portfolio to the interview, but now I can't reach her to find out more about what exactly is in that? Can you help??? Also, any other recommendations about what type of collateral to bring to a senior level interview would be helpful. Thanks!

Hey, so I'm in a delema... I'm from MI and last summer I worked in AK. I was a musher/guide on a glacier there. I found the position lat yr online and was going crazy to be apart of it. Any ways I ended up working there fo rthe season 4 months. I got great pay and met some of the most interesting people I have ever met. I really want to go back to see my friends. The quesiton is should I go back..... I'm really struggling firguring it out. Here are the pros and cons
PROS:
great pay- great friends- learning experiance- landscape is sweet and good for my photography- best commute to work ever (heli)
-long hours (sometimes over 100 a week)
CONS: Sunburn (had ot go to the ER last summer)- lost feeling in my toes lol (got it back a month after work ended)- HARD days (weather, evil tourists, hard management)- had to melt snow to shower and then take a bath with buckets- had to sleep on glacier- weathered up (longest 21 days)- will be my 21st and its a"dry glacier"

my parents, being the pushers and worriers that they are, keep bugging me to sit down with this free lance academic advisor sort of guy so that he can "help give me some direction on what career i should pursue, and what classes i shuld take for the remainder of college (i'm 21 now, a junior). i used to go to this guy a few years back when i was in high school and i must admit for the sats and tutoring and such he was somewhat helpful, but it's like i always tell them i don't need to sit down with someone so that they can tell me where they think i should go with my life. i'd like to think i can figure that out on my own, plus i already have my major and know what classes i have to take etc so it's not like they need to pay some guy 70 bucks an hour so he can tell me i should be a lawyer or something like that. pathetic really isn't it

I hate my job, but want a good reference letter.

I'm currently looking for better paying jobs that are more along the lines of what I'll enjoy, but how do I resign from my current job without admitting that I am not living up to their expectations???
And hence a bad reference?

I am doing a research paper on Union-Management cooperative programs. I was hoping to get some simple answers to include in my final paper from the yahoo world. it does not matter if you have experience with labor unions or not - My goal is to determine peoples perception of these type of programs where unions and management work together. Thanks in advance for your reply.

I am also a certified Medical Assistant with no experiance. I have over 100 successful draws through my externship. This is a 2nd career for me after spending 16 yrs in sales, being promoted 3x and making a good income. I left the sales business to get away from the constant high pressure of recruiting and sales to pursue my desire of working in the health field. I would really appreciate it if you have any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

My mother got me this job, where she works, and well I have been working their for 2 weeks now, and really hate it. I had shoulder surgery last April and my shoulder just can't handle doing all the filing and stuff they want me to. My mom really wants me to stay, she thinks its a great job! How do I explain to her, and the main boss, that I just can't keep putting my body through all the pain, over a 9.00 hour job.
