Whether or not you have to get permission is entirely up to your current employer. As long as it's not another bank or competing entity they shouldn't care.

Depends, its called moonlighting and many employers take a dim view of it as it can interfere with your main job. Check your contract, many of them prohibit taking other paid work and will sack you if they find out youre employed somewhere else, if it doesnt say anything then youre ok but Id keep very quiet about it in any case.

Your boss isn't the boss of your life. They are the boss in the institution you work in and when you leave those doors, you have the freedom to choose what you want.

When you do get your second job, doesn't it make sense that you list when you are available?

Thus, it won't conflict with your first job.
