Describe a time when you had to adapt to a change in order to achieve a better outcome. Please include details of the context, the actions you took and the results that were achieved.

After you complete a job as an independent contract on 1099, how soon are you supposed to get that 1099 form? It's been a month, and this guy who took me for a bargain on 1099 has not mailed me the 1099 form. Is this normal to wait more than a month?

due to some financial problem i discontinuted B.Tech in 3rd year, then i ended up buying degree in some other country(FRANCE),not in india, present i am working in MNC from last four years, i have verygood technical knowledge about subjects, but i have fear of my degrees all the time,now i wanted to work in software industry another 10 years, is there any way to do this without knowing anybody,can i travel countries like USA and UK or singapore,netherlands, anyone help highly appreciable, i am planning to marry in few months, now i am not able to decide whether i can marry a working spouse?,i am verymuch confused what to do, i am thinking i should stop working in software because of fear. i need your valuable suggestion , i wanted work in software comapny without knowing anybody including myparents and spouse, which is the best way, recently i have foundmagazine now software companies are doing background check, if they do will they contact my france university ,please help

I want to know if there is usually a difference in pay for a pharmacist working at a hospital and a pharmacist working at a pharmacy in a drug store like Smiths or Walmart. I have been working in Corporate America for 17 years. Most of my jobs have allowed me to travel the world, increase my salary to my current level of $110K. I find that my career path of having a job (just over broke) is not satisfying to me any more. I often think about starting my own business but have discovered that I am risk averse. How have you all overcome your fear of failure and started something on your own? I have a fair amount of money saved and my wife supports me 100%. I have an idea of the type of business I want to start. Question is, how have you overcome this fear of the unknown? Was it successful for you? Would love to hear from you. Thanks....

i have never succeded in the workplace and I just don't think I am capable of learning. it has been several years so I think I would know by now. I have actually never had a full time job, but I have had worked part-time or freelance at basically full time hours (this in itself was an exploitation I couldn't get myself out of) Though part of me still "wants" a full time job, the smarter, more rational part of me realizes that a full time job would probably kill me. and I am better off this way. I just don't think I could survive in a workplace. Are there any alternatives? Should I try to just get married and be a housewife and scrub the kitchen floor? (sigh... =(
