Hi, I agree with what you wrote and to add your work dictates everything, from when to go to bed, when to get up, what to wear, when to take vacation, sometimes when to be sick....so I found a home-based business that will lead to quitting my job. If you want to look at it, email me to rpelley5@yahoo.com.

ME ME ME ME ME! There is something seriously wrong with the work force and even society's attitude towards it and working in general. Anyone ever notice how, when people brag about work, they sound like a bunch of barking dogs? Try to imagine what I sound like right now as I say the following...
"I work." ("I woof")
"work work work work work" ("woof woof woof woof woof")
"Do you work?" ("Do you woof?")
"Why you don't wanna work?" ("Why you don't wanna woof?")
Truly, that's how people sound to me.
It's sort of difficult for me to explain just how I think society views working. My husband understands, because he feels the same way.
It's something that people have to do in order to survive, but society acts as though working makes them "big and bad", if you know what I mean.
Working in this screwed up world is a necessary evil for most people. It's necessary for survival. And it's evil, in my opinion, because we are forced to slave our lives away while getting paid less than what our services are worth and constantly being under appreciated by both society and the a*s holes we work for.
Another thing that pisses me off is that people tend to judge those who are unemployed. You don't have any idea why each unemployed individual in this world is not working. You cannot possibly know everyone's circumstances. Walk at least a mile in their shoes and then open you fat trap... That's my attitude about the situation.
I thank you, the question poster, for asking about this. Maybe it will cause people to think about the seriousness of the subject.

I never used to feel like that. Then I met my husband and he has a high paying job so I didn't work again for over a year. Now I feel very out of touch in the workforce, I sometimes even feel stupid.
I don't feel as confident as I used to.
I'm hoping I will get used to it.

About working your butt off to make someone else money.
To limit yourself to someone else's beliefs
To work at someone else's pace and under their direction day after day after day like a robot.
Not for me!!!!
