Don't take any wrong step in panic, you already have one to your credit.

You should approach your university and ask if it is possible for you to complete your degree from where you left?
If the answere is "yes" (which is the most expected one) , then do it. If you fear then leave the company you are presently working in and apply elsewhere. Tell in interview that you weren't able to complete the degree then coz of financial reasons but since it was always bugging you, you have done it now. Tell about your skills and knowlege and if you have courage then tell about the blunder you made. Don't forget to say that everybody makes mistakes but few try to face them. Trust me, you won't make a bad impression.
You can even say that in your present company. As they know about your knowdlege , they might conside your case.

Don't ever lie to your spouse-to-be.Truth is the base of marriage.

Honesty and Courage is always appriciated. If somehow you can gather courage to tell the truth to all then you will not have to live with guilt.

Yes, actually go back to school and finish your degree legitimately. If you get caught pre-offer, your "college" could be put on a watch list for other companies to NOT hire from people from your "laser-jet university". They will only be seeking people who actually obtained real degrees.

Sounds like your conscious is getting to you, as it should. Most people who deceive feel guilty.

When you apply to work somewhere simply state that you did not complete the degree for financial reasons. Tell them how much you did complete, how your grades were, and what experience you have since then. It is not all about having a degree.

This way you won't be lying and don't have anything to fear.

if you have good experiance and good at what you do, than dont worry. Just keep woking hard and during interview tell the person you didn't complete or you will be completing it in future.

never disclose this secret information to anybody... i am not sure about advising a way for coming out of this mess-up... any ways, i think you find out another suitable job appropriate to your legal qualification and then leave this job...
