michigan raised it's min. wage and i heard part of the package was to help saleried workers? has anyone got any information if this is true or not?

I've sent in resumes for a few positions and no callbacks. Now they have a new position opening up. Should I send my resume? And should I send a cover letter even though it's not required (would that put me one step ahead of everyone else)? By the way, it's a position for a ticket box office cashier with a big possibility for advancement into different departments. This would help since I have a degree in history and working at a naval museum would help my resume out a lot.

I will take any advice or opportunity regarding employment in the field of finance. I have a Bachelor's degreee in finance and in management from CU. I have management experience but no direct finance experience. I have posted my resume on all the career sites, followed up leads from the newspaper and friends and gone on several interviews. I have been at my current job for 16 years and my degree is from 2000. What else can I do? I have applied for jobs from bank teller to financial consultant. I will do anything just to obtain an entry -level position within my field so that I can gain some knowledge and experience.

i really want to be a doctor. Well a surgeon. or however you spell it. I was wondering what classes you might have to take in highschool. What are some good colleges? I know i am only 15 but i want to get involved now because i really want to be a doctor. I am volunteering at a local hospital . That might help me get into a good medical school. The people in my office men and women always have something to say. I bought a new dress and I thought it was so cute and the first thing they said was "is that your moms dress?" I was hurt all day. They other day two people gave me advice (not asked for) on dealing with my skin. I'am the youngest person in my office and they all check my out as soon as I walk in the door. I have tried to tell my boss and she said not to be so sensitive. They make mean hurtful comments everyday. How do I deal with this problem. I love my job so I don't want to quit. I got my hair cut short and five people told me they liked it longer. I feel like they pick on me. I have tried to ignore them but they make it a point to come to my desk to get my attention. Help me think of a solution please. Thank you

I have a certificate in Data Entry operator because I'm a vocational school graduate, I was in the Army from 1999 to present, getting out in a couple of months. I was a mail clerk at the Army post office for 1 year. I was in Iraq two times. What can I do to get myself a good job and put these things on my resume? I really need a good paying job because it's very tough financially than it was in 1999, just when Clinton left office. Anyway, anybody know of any jobs of at least $50,000 a year with no experience required. If it takes training, I'm willing to do it. I just need the no experience required so I can at least have my foot in the door. Someone help me out please!
