I will take any advice or opportunity regarding employment in the field of finance. I have a Bachelor's degreee in finance and in management from CU. I have management experience but no direct finance experience. I have posted my resume on all the career sites, followed up leads from the newspaper and friends and gone on several interviews. I have been at my current job for 16 years and my degree is from 2000. What else can I do? I have applied for jobs from bank teller to financial consultant. I will do anything just to obtain an entry -level position within my field so that I can gain some knowledge and experience.

Have you tried posting you're resume on finance companies websites? Say you want to get into ING or Mellon financial You can post you're resume there all websites should have an area to do this. I would also try Networking in a group for instance

Each state should have a service like this and it will hold a networking meeting so you can get ideas off other people and give them ideas. Look on you're states homepage.

Try finance companies. I started in finance. Companies like Wells Fargo Financial, Household Finance, CitiFinancial. They offer personal lending products and you can learn a great deal about credit and lending.

Ultimately, mortgage lending is very rewarding, and I would check into that category. Good luck!
