apart from sexual favours or blackmail or crying or a combination of any of these!

work hard. prove ur worth! put in extra time to finish stuff off and dont be afraid to make it obvious when u have done a good job!
then if u still dont get a pay rise have a quiet word that u need to be on more money or will have to look for something else!
if ur a valid member of the company they will give u a rise!

Impress the boss, not by sucking up but by asking to be trained to do different things and take on more responsibility. If they think you are interested in the company and not just the money you are more likely to succeed.

Easy ! well it was for me anyway , i just told my boss that i was leaving as i had a similar new job that paid more with less hour`s he gave me a £200 a month pay rise and an extended lunch break and extra 1 week holiday ! try it !

1. sleep with the boss (but this may be blackmail)
2. drop your request down his chimney at home (but it may get covered in soot, and that definitely IS blackmail!)

stop thinking about how much u get paid for doing it and a bit more time thinking about and doing your job the pay rise will follow.

simple just ask, if they are happy with your work they will happily give you a raise, well that seems to work at our place
