I used to be the golden boy of the department, but lately it seems my supervisor does not have any confidence in me and others are starting to notice. As far as I know, nothing has changed. My performance is the same, and I have not had her say anything to me. I want to nip this before it goes any further. How should I approach her about this?

You most likely have an enemy in your midst who is undermining you with the boss-lady. You must get her interested in you and your career again. Buy her some nice chocolates or perfume and ask her out to dinner. At dinner, be very complimentary and light her cigarette. Order for her, including a nice glass of wine. If after dinner she seems receptive, give her a kiss on the lips. If you can get on her good side again, she may reveal the name of your enemy. At that point you should move agressively to ruin his career by spreading lies and innuendo. Good luck.

Take the hat off first. Go in with delicate confidence. Try to offer her coffe one day, and say something like,"It seems apparent to me, we need to talk." If she asks why, then say,"I'm not sure about some things others think that I am doing, and I would like to discuss my perormance with you some time, when you have a few minutes. Is that agreeable with you?"

certainly asking her for a moment of her time would not be out of the question... once the door of the office shuts behind you, ask her if there is something you can do to help her.. that lately you noticed she was on edge. don't make it sound like your feelings are hurt... you need to remain professional. it may not be about YOU at all... but no need to get into any personal stuff at the office. just volunteer - and listen. perhaps there is something you could do.

WHen my boss pulled some **** like that I just slapped him in the face and told him that if it did not stop I was going to show the company the pics of me doing his wife. I was fired and spent six months in jail so whatever you do DON'T do that.
