He's been in retail management for 11 years. The schedule worked fine until our kids started school. I send out resume after resume to jobs with a 9-5 schedule but get no takers. Any advice on transitioning to a normal scheduled career?

I'll be working at a mortgage company, and while I have no experience, I am a very hard worker and fast learner. How do I get off on the right foot with both my co-workers and supervisors? I want to really impress everybody and do the best job I can, but I don't want to come across looking like a suck-up.

I am applying for a new job that I desperately want. I just got a call that I will be contacted for an interview in a couple of weeks. But here's the problem. One of my family members has a chance to go to Ireland for a week and she's invited me. Going to Ireland is like a once in a lifetime thing for me but I also need this new job really bad. How do I incorporate both? Do I tell them in the interview that I might be going on vacation or after I get hired? (which i'm pretty sure since I have a friend working there) Some people are telling me to say I won the trip to Ireland but If i get the job I don't want to lie to them. I'm afraid if I tell them right away that I may be going to Ireland they won't hire me. What to do??

Testing positive for drugs not perscribed to her. She was sent to the emergency room at the hospital where she works as a medical technologist because staff(one or more?) thought her behavior was impaired or unusual. When she submitted her blood and urine the alcohol came back negative but she tested positive for benzodiazapines, which she is perscribed(Dalmane). They also sent her blood/urine out for GSMC testing and she is aware of several other drugs that will probably/most likely be present in her system( Xanax(non-perscribed), Vicodin(non-perscribed), more Effexor than perscribed, Welbutrin(non-perscribed), Seroquel(non-perscribed), Remeron(non-perscribed). She has no street drugs in her system. Employee Health is awaiting the results of the GSMC sendout from Mayo Clinic and will find these other drugs to have been in her system at the time. What is the protocol for employers at this point? Will she be sent to rehab? Put on probation, fired? And if she is fired will this info be

The obvious choice would be a butcher but the thought of all that meat makes me feel sick. I only do this at weekends when me and some of my sect go off to our woodland retreat. We find that laying traps is too time consuming and there isnt a good supply of virgins to hand.Any ideas?

I am in the process for applying for new jobs now over the Internet job websites. After a week of submitting my resume, I will call Human Resources and ask them what the status is concerning my application and resume. Sometimes a woman will answer and say, yes we have your application and have not come to a decision yet. Would it be wrong for me to ask the HR woman out to lunch to discuss the job and all?

I would like to uproot my family out of over-priced CA to a more affordable state. The company I work for doesn't have many openings for professional level employees out of the state. I haven't had to look for a new job since I left college 12 years ago. What's the most efficient way to find employers looking for professional job candidates?
