It is always best to have integrity. You should fulfill your commitments, especially to your employers. What i suggest to you is to take one day at a time. While you are there learn as much as you can about that job and glean skills that may be helpful down the road. Wait for your paycheck then give the appropriate notice in writing to quit. Continue to work through out that time (usually two weeks) giving it 100% just as if you were going to stay for a long time. Be a good employee right to the end. Ask for a letter of recommendation or reference before you go from a good supervisor. Of course be looking fervently for a new job that you might enjoy at the same time so you don't have to spend time unemployed.

Some of the poster say "stick it out". I say wait until you get your first paycheck..and then take some time to re-evaluate your situation. Write a list of the pros and cons and if the cons are overwhelming, I would give them at least one week notice and then quit. Or if you really hate the job and don't care about burning bridges..just call in and tell them you quit. Just be sure that they will have no contact with other companies you may apply to. If most of the cons are resolvable, then I might work there a full month to see if things change.
I admit, I interviewed for this job..and they wanted me to start work that day. I finished the day..but hated it so much I just called later that day I would not be coming in because it was not a good fit. So, if you truly "hate" your job...then quit..but just be sure to get your paycheck on your way out since you have worked 1.5 weeks already.
Of course, if you really need money and cannot go without a paycheck..I would suggest you stay until you find another job...it could be annoying..but its safer that way.

Stick it out. You need the money and most working people don't enjoy their jobs. I work as a waitress and make about $650.00 a week. That's good money I think but I still hate my job. Unless yoiu have a great college degree you will never have a "DREAM" job. So just stick it out until you find better because I know you have bills to pay.

It all depends on what you don't like about the job. If you things you don't like are going to change soon then stick it out. If it isn't really going to get better then start looking for a new job and say that this job wasn't what I expected or wasn't a good fit for me. I have a family and house and would definitely wait to find a new job before leaving my old one.
No one really likes their job that much, otherwise they would work for free. It does seem like you hear and read about people who say they love their job more often than people who say they hate their job.

You have the job...stick it out while you find another one....It's always better to comming from another job rather than applying "unemployed". It also gives you more boldness in the looking, you're not going to take just anything....that's what got you where you are now right? 8-)
Good luck!! and Never Give UP!!!

in case you hate the position you paintings then i'd evaluate quitting, yet per chance help out the folk that are there interior the advise time. per chance put in some weeks note and get your co-workers prepared to %. up your slack once you depart. do not merely %. up and walk out, yet prepare that you care about the area, yet merely desire something with a brighter destiny.

MAybe this job is not right for you. If you are already saying you hate it, then give it up, and find something you like.
