I cannot understand this kind of things but in Mexico is a reallity, my background is vast and complete, since I have worked for several companies like Ford, Moresa, Otis Elevator, Steel Cables, Editmex. etc. I have been in different positions like Manager in supply areas, also as Director. I think my experience could be used as a consultant or trainer for young people.

I do not know, what is happening, but when you knock the doors once and again and always are closed, the stress is growing up.
because I have many duties with my family.

Could you help me to solve this situation?

Thanks in advance.

If so do they drug test and if they do do they pay for it or do you have to pay for it out of your first check? And did you like it?

A Fortune 100 company based here in Toledo is in trouble. I just got 2 job offers from them without one department knowing about the other's offer. I'm a paralegal & studying 4 the bar. BA in Bus Admin/minor PolSci.

The company's legal dept needs me to work on cases that are on hold while they're in bancrupcy. Briefs, strategies, research, interrogatories and the like. They plan to emerge from bancruptcy in 18 months. The offer a handsome salary and benefits package. But there is no room for growth and I think they will disolve alot of jobs when they come out of Chap 11. Assistant General Counsel.

Now their purchasing department offered me a position working as a data analyst. The position I've been offered can grow into a more responsible and visible role after they emerge. Commodities Management and the legal aspects of acquisitions etc. Salary still great.

Is there a greater risk given their status? Which job should I take? Should I keep looking elsewhere in the meantime?

I have been at my current job for about 1 month. I was hired as a 9 month temp, with full benefits. This job makes me miserable. Recently, a position opened up that is higher in pay, permanent, and it would make me happier. Is it too soon to apply for this job? Should I stick it out for 8 more months? Obviously, I might not get the other job... but the thought of telling my department, that I'm already planning on bailing, scares me.

I need to find a job, I work in the mortgage industry. I'm thinking about using an internet company to send out my resume to 1000 recruiters.
Does it work?
If so, can you recommend a company?

Employers having employees to sign confidentiality agreement that also consist of preventing you from being employed by a competitor or affiliate within 50 miles for up to 6 months. Is it legal for employers to limit who and where you work for? And to have you sign this document at time of employment as a required employment document?

I was laid off last Sept and haven't gotten a permanent job yet. I'm temping now for the county and I do not know for how long. I got a call for a med office position (which I really want to do) but would have to ask my boss to take lunch early on Thursday. I normally rarely even take time off for the doctor or vacations and I feel guilty and anxious to even to have to ask. They know the situation, I've never left for an interview while temping before, but its been 11 months since I had a steady paycheck.

I have a long career history in Collections but I just started a new job which also requires cold-calling companies to make sales. I'm great at collections but I am finding that in making sales calls, I am phone-shy and stumbling over my words. I do not want to sound like an idiot on the phone who doesn't know what they're doing. Any advice on how to relax and make the sale?
