I need to find a job, I work in the mortgage industry. I'm thinking about using an internet company to send out my resume to 1000 recruiters.
Does it work?
If so, can you recommend a company?

It works incredibly well- I know from experience. I may remember some of the sites...http:www.mortgageboard.com http://www.Monster.com http://www.MortgageCareers.com There are so many, I can't recall all of them, It works very, very well. Google or Yahoo for mortgage jobs and get the sites- the criteria for the position you want and you'll be bombarded with job offers.

I've gotten tons of hits from my resume online and I'm only a secretary!!! I've found that CareerBuilder.com is the most well known and that's where I've gotten the most responses. Monster.com is good too, but I've never gotten any promising leads from them. I actually just got a call a couple of weeks ago in regards to my resume on CareerBuilder and I've had my new job for over 3 mos! Good luck!

Why would you pay a company to send out your resume when you can post it on so many job sites and submit it to jobs you would really be interested in? You can also take the time to locate the company information in your area for companies you are interested in working for and send them the resume for free.
