Just wondering how it works. For example, if I have $5000 deduction, does that count toward Federal, State, Medicare (1.4%), and Social Security (6.2%)?

I have PPO and I went to the dr and was told my insurance covered it so all I had to pay was $15 copay. Then, I just got a bill in the mail. My insurance didn't change or anything and they told me they found me in the system when I was there.

Can they get away with charging me the remaining balance of $190 eventhough they gave me their word that it was covered?

My dad died in 2000 and had told my mom about a $100k trust that he set up for me. His wife Betty was to hold the money until "I was ready for it". My mom passed of cancer last year and on her death bed we received a call from Betty in which she said that she had spoken to a lawyer and that she was able to use that money for living expenses since she's retired. She said there would still be some left for me... is this possible? I'm 28 and really need that money and I think she said something about she was going to split what was left up among her other two sons as well. What's the deal?

I'm 19 and don't have a job, will they still let me have one? I'm going to Chicago (for educational purposes) but don't have the money to get there. I'll be going in Febuary. Will I be approved for a credit card?

Also, I don't have a job right now but I am looking for one. I've applied at several different places, called them etc. I'll have a job eventually, but I don't know if I'll have one before February.

Good evening to all, i was wondering if anyone might be able to help me out with some info.

We been living at this location for 10 years. The place was originally rented, by verbal agreement, to my step-father, who was one of the sons of the landlord, he however, passed away 6 years ago. When that happened, the landlord told my mother not to worry, that as long as we paid rent, we could stay as long as we liked, since they loved her like a daughter.

When the landlords wife fell ill, my mother took care of her, until she passed away, same thing happened when the landlord fell ill and passed away, which was today. The landlords sons just told us, that we should start looking for a place to rent, since they got to sell the place. Can they just kick us out like that?

We have no lease, but i been paying with checks this whole time, for record purposes. I got out of the military 3 months ago, and have not found a job yet, so i have very little money left. Any help would be appreciated.

im in first yr of uni and we watched a video onthe the profitablity of oil and gas. basically iwas thinking that ill wait a few years until a new form of energy is used to power cars such as a new type of feul or i heard somthing about hydrogen cells to power cars, or even using neuclear power to power cars...when this happens ill jump on it and start making parts that you need to the car with...for example, hydrogen cells, im sure bmw wont make the cells them selves they will purchase it from a company that makes them. i think this is a good idea beacuse firstly itll be a new techonolgy so there will be alot of room to grow, and with every new technology som really big companies cant adapt to change and go out of business, making room for people like me...so what do u think?

I am going to be getting my degree in Anthropology next year, but my GPA will be at the most, a 3.1. I would really like to pursue nursing, but I have heard that BSN programs are really tough to get into with my GPA.

Are there any BSN programs that are more lenient with their requirements? I have heard that private schools are generally easier to get into the nursing program. Also, as an alternative, could I go to a community college to get my RN and then transfer to a RN-to-BSN program?

I am in the process of buying my first home. I am approved for a certain amount of money but the house I'm looking at purchasing is owned by the bank and they want a "cash deal". I don't have enough "cash" to purchase so I was wondering if there was any other options out there for me to take advantage of.
