We don't agree with a medical clinic's bill (it was for some heart tests), and they refuse to adjust it. What happens if we don't pay it?

If your insurance company is supposed to pay 80% of a procedure, but then refuses...is there any recourse in a matter like this?

It really isn't for me. I know someone I want to make a deal with, and know that he had double knee replacement and this happened to him. I thought that maybe if I helped him out with his problem, it would increase the chance of me securing the deal.

I have already contributed the maximum contribution to my company's 401K account. May I also contribute to a traditional IRA for the same year? Please do not confuse my question with ROTH IRAs. Thank you.

I have a lawsuit against me for a vehicle I gave back two years ago. They are now comming after me and said they are getting ready to file a judgement and garnish my wages. I don't have the money to pay a attorney or them. I am a single mom of 3 special needs kids. I don't have friends or family to help me I an't got nuthin!! If they garnish my wages I will either be evicted from my house or I will not be able to feed my kids. I have told the creditors that and when I talked to them the guy looked up my credit and said oh u are dealing with other stuff "duh" I got alot going on and I don't need this on top of it. I don't know what to do or where to turn. Does anyone have any advise on what I can do?? why after 2 years they are comming after me now?? when can the wage garnishment start? will they take my taxes too? and freeze my bank account even if money an't in it?

and were asking if we were interested in refinancing our home. We told them we were not eligible to refinance until next year, because if we refinance earlier than three years there is a huge pre-pay penalty. Anyway they wanted to schedule a meeting at our home, they without even knowing anything about our credit or bills or anything seemed positive that it would be worth it, even with the pre-pay.

I was wondering if I would be wasting my time, and if anyone has ever refinanced through them and what type of experience it was. Thanks in advance

Today marks 1 month that I have worked at my current or now previous employer. As a side job, I am a mortgage broker on the side. However, today they terminated me, because they claim I was selling mortgages, and they claim that the conversation was recorded. I never sold mortgages to anyone. I wrote an e-mail to the people who were there, and asked to set an appointment to come in and listen to the recording. I live in Colorado. "At Will" State.

In Discovery phase. we want to settle. Only reason for sing was to protect the "statute date". Injuries were whiplashtype, back and neck strain. What is the usual settlement on this type of case? Can you refer us to case law?
Ins. co admitted fault on behalf of their insured & now they don't want to pay. Should we get a lawyer?

If a company could show me the ropes in successfully getting good ideas and projects funded with their investors with deep pockets and pay me extremely well , would you consider an investment under 10k for 6-7 figure profit potential every year starting the first year?

It would be like owning my own company with the benefit of experts in the business for over 30 years as my mentors. The clients would even call me so there would be no cold calling to get the business off the ground.

They will give me a very complete information about the company What else would you do before proceeding?

Do you think people will ever stop asking for funding?

Am I crazy or does this seem like a great career?

Thanks in advance for your well thought out answers.

Im an auditor in public accounting (big 4) and my 12 year old sister just moved in with me due to a family emergency. Well im faced with a delima given that my current job requires me to travel and work extensive hours. So im looking for a less demanding job so that i can attend to my sister. Recently i was extended an offer from the federal government, however the pay is $10K less than what im worth and the grade level is the same one that they would give me straight out of college. Considering the facts mentioned above do you think i should take this job?

there are many kinds of tax deductions when running my business. right?

1.) Are cost of goods sold are 100% deuctable?

2.) if the cars are for business and personal I can deduct $.485 per mile, if it's for business only Can I duduct the payment and gas costs?

3.) If I buy equipment like a computer, I can't deduct the cost of the computer, because it's still an asset that is taking the place of what was cash right? What if it's part of the start up costs? If I sell the equipment do I have to consider it income?

4.) Are consumables like electricity and printer paper are 100% deductable.

5.) what about waste? We have a vinyl graphics business and have mistakes sometimes. Can I deduct the retail value of the wasted item.
This is so confusing. how do I keep it straight?
