If you're planning on kissing ***, you're going in with the wrong attitude, and it will probably show.
Search within yourself, and answer the questions honestly.
But here's a hint: When they ask me about my weaknesses, I tell them I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I set high standards for myself, and I'm not always able to attain the perfection I strive for.

Answer honestly. The reason questions like this are asked is to see how you handle the unexpected, how well you think on your feet and can present yourself. If you go in with well-rehearsed answers then you come across as someone who is well-rehearsed.
When I was interviewing people, I asked these questions and similar ones, but I always had a handful of questions that I knew people would be unprepared for. I wanted to catch the interviewee in a situation where they had to think about the question and devise an answer on the spot. It allowed me to see how they reacted under stress. Almost invariably, those with well-rehearsed answers faltered terribly when put in a position of getting "off-script."
It's a good idea to have some idea of what your strengths and weaknesses are, but not a good idea to have a scripted and rehearsed answer, because you will not always get the question in the form that you are prepared for.
Best advice: know yourself, listen to the questions being asked, and answer as honestly as you can.

first and foremost make sure that you have a clean copy of your resume and any letters of recommendation with you. keep them in a simple black or blue folder with some plain paper that you can use for taking notes.
next, dress in clothing appropriate for the job. if the employer gave a suggestion of what to wear, i hope you paid attention. ex... don't wear high heels to a job where there is a lot of walking, wear stylish but sensibly low heels. if you have had the opportunity, i hope you paid attention to what others who are working there were wearing. if you can help it, don't bring your purse into the interview with you. if you have to, bring a very simple black purse with only the necessities. TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONE!!! or at least turn it on silent. don't smoke a cigarette right before the interview, you don't want to smell like an ashtray.
at the interview, shake hands only if it is offered to you. if not, keep your hands to yourself. during the interview, do not cross your legs at your knees, if you must cross them, do it at the ankles. also, lean forward slightly, this will give your interviewer the impression that you are comfortable with the interview and interested in the job.
finally, relax. when asked a question take a moment to breath and give a quick mind check before you answer. this gives the appearance that you are not nervous and stumbling over your answers. if you do not understand the question, ask the interviewer to define what he/she means.
bring a black ink pen with you and be prepared to fill out more information because they may want to to a criminal background check and credit history on you if you are a candidate for a call back.
Hope this helps and good luck at your interview!

Try taking a resume this is more professional and is
easier for you to keep everything fresh and in order
in the interview.Go on line and look at the form and questions.
It's like I will do my utmost to contribute to this company,
and I will give 100 percent to my knowledge and I am
willing to work hard and learn, this is my desire and goal.
My strengths are whatever you have done in the past on the job.weakness is maybe what you having done but are most surely ready to learn.Turn a negative into a positive.
Be tactful in how you answer a question, never say
anything negative about yourself or abilities.Be Alert.
The resume takes time to do, and plan out but, it's your best bet for any job opportunity.

I was actually interviewed recently by two people and got some tips afterwards by one of the interviewers.
He said that when the interviewer asks a question they are usually just seeing how confident you are in your answer, and sometimes not your actual answer at all. He said that your answer could be completely wrong but if you answer it confidently then that's a good thing. This may sound odd, but I think it is true, so answer confidently and try to choose good answers.
Also, try to highlight or emphasize your stronger qualities that apply to your job or how the qualities will help you.
Hope this helped.

Strengths I always try to think about what type of work I'm going to be doing and what kind of strengths they are looking for.
For exmaple if you're applying to be a cashier, you might say you are excellent in math, are great with customer comunication, and are a quick learner.
I would say always give 3. Anyless makes them look at you like you have A LOT to grow on, anymore makes it very noticable you are trying to kiss their *** and tell them what they want to hear.
Weaknesses is always my favorite.
I always say something like, I know my biggest weakness is my focused mindset to get something done correctly and not leave it alone half finished. It just bothers me to lave work uncompleted and I know I have to grow on that because it's hard for me to start something else knowing I've left something unfinished. OMG they love to hear stuff like that.
Why do you want to work here is easy:
-Love the atmopsher
-Love to shop here
-Big company
-Growing copany
-Learning expereince
-Chance to climb a position ladder
Best of luck!

i don't think a job interview is a place to say things to kiss ***. It's a place to proudly talk with them what you as a person and potential employee have to give to them, and why you think you would be a good employee for them. then when you get the job make sure you follow through and give them the very best you have to give, and you will probably have a job for a very long time.

First off ... It's not at ALL about kissing ...'
This is about you being truthful about what those answers are for you. It's about showing them who you truthfully are and together, seeing if that is a good fit for the company. ....and for you.
Some tips outside of that are ... Be positive, don't bash former employers, don't use vague answers, don't be afraid to brag about your accomplishments.
Interviewers absolutely recognize someone that is just trying to kiss their butts and they won't give them a second thought.

There is no need to kiss *** as you mention it. Be your self, smile, shake hands. Appear confident . Know and research about the company and know what they stand for. Good to know would be the company's mission statement. It would also help if you know what you want to achieve in their company. Make notes, reherse, rehersee and dress for success.
