Is that legal? The person added to my card wasn't even a family member, but a friend of the family. A couple years ago he co-signed on a car loan for me, but I'd had the credit card a couple years before that. How can the credit card company just add someone's name to my account without authorization on my part and without having the addee sign a document as well? How can that be legal? Any steps I should take other than getting the name taken off the card?

If I put $248,000 in a Brokerage account how much interest would I earn?, and is it very risky investing that much money in the stock market?

The only real job I've had, aside from Mcdonald's for a month, was as an "exotic dancer" for almost 6 years. How do I put that on a resume? And what is the best way of talking about this kind of job in interviews?
A lot of the girls I work with told me to put Entertainer, but I'm sure I'd be asked all sorts of questions in an interview about this title.
Look I'm trying to change my life around and get a professional office-type job so if theres anything you can do to help, I'd appreciate it.

I recently returned to work as an assistant supervisor of a group home for 5 MR men, after a 3 year hiatus caring for my parents. I've been on the job 45 days and have found much of the staff to be dishonest.

This evening my boss, informed me that she has a "crush" on me. This came out of left field, as I'm 10 years older, professional and not particularly inclined to go out with my boss, who is also 385# and has a 7 year old daughter. I'm also gay-100% gay, but not fem. I only want to do my job and enjoy my health insurance, something I did without those 3 years.

I was flabberghasted, but handled it well, and just as I started to describe myself as a kind of "loner," so help me, one of the toilets overflowed, requiring immediate attention, etc.

I know it's sexist to go by the adage "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned," but since I know that she is a gossip and very co-dependent with her other employees (frankly bad boundaries), I am getting a bad feeling. Any advice

I've been applying to jobs online for about 2 months now. I've been applying to major chains like K-Mart, Home depot, Toys R Us, and others. I have a high school diploma. I'm currently attending college in order to get an associates degree. I have 2 years of retail experience. I can work a cash register. And I have not had any problems with my employers. Yet I have not had any call backs!

I think that there are a few possible reasons why I'm not getting any call backs:
-I'm over qualified. They probably want someone with less experience so they can pay them less.
-I'm currently employed. Although I'm looking to leave my current job.
-I'm asking for a salary that is too high. Currently I'm making $9 an hour, and I'm asking for $10 an hour.
-I'm failing the test that you have to take when you answer when you fill out the application.

Can any one give me advice. Is there a website that can help me with application test? Should I ask for a lower salary?

so.
i already have a wachovia credit card with a 1300 dollar balance, I also have a dell credit card with a 500 dollar balance. My money is running low, but I will be receiving a couple thousand.

I was thinking I should put 1100 in my checking account to live off the semester with and use the other half to put on my credit card.

Now, I have another credit card that I havent opened with a $5000 limit with citi bank, I was thinking Id take money from there and pay off the remaining balance off for my wachovia credit card, and pay off the dell credit card. And just have to worry about the monthly payment of this citi bank card in addition to my car/health insurance?

any advice?

I'm a diabetic who had a MRSA infection in my left foot. The doctor wanted to do amputation below the knee. I questioned having to loose the whole leg for a foot infection. He replied with"you snip snip here and you snip snip there and you're still going to lose the leg" that was 7 years ago. I still have the leg and most of my left foot minus the toes. I saved myself because I didn't let his being a doctor stop me from exploring my options. It still amazes me how many heatlhcare professionals still act like their opinions and judgements are the final word. What happened to the partnership between doctors and patients I've heard so much about?

I have about 10, but they're all VERY diffferent. charge card, gas card, rewards card, store card, debit, on and on.

The ONLY negative is that I opened them all within a year's period, which I'm sure is destroying my credit score.

However, is there a limit as to how many you can have?

I mean there are THOUSANDS of lenders out there, and many cards especially nowadays.

Having ONLY one or two credit cards in this day and age, I'm sorry, but is unrealistic and backwards.

The good ol'days of saving, paying everything in cash, and what not are over.

How can having multiple accounts hurt your score, when that just proves that you can handle more (that is if you actually can handle it), and it means you have more money to work with.

Even though this proves a risk, if you go years without abusing it, isn't that proving that you're a great candidate to do business with?

Seems common sense to me.

Anyways, someone with some knowledge please respond.

It's a hookah lounge 2 blocks from campus. It will take 2 months maximum to get set up. This is the 1st one in the state (WV). Open now with upcoming cold weather? Or postpone until warmer weather (which will be april, although students will be moving back home in may)?

When you answer, make sure to include the constraints on your answer (since "grocery store" is kind of an ambiguous term).

Also: Please make sure to source your answer!

Thank you,

I absolutely love clothes, shoes and accessories. However, I also have a lot of goals (owning my own home, funding my retirement, etc.). While I consider myself reasonably frugal (i.e. I don't just blow bundles of cash and often buy things at thrift stores) clothing and accessories are easily my biggest expense after rent/food...and my income is a modest one.

Fellow budget fashionistas: how do you reign in your love of shopping? Do you give yourself a budget? I don't have one and honestly have no idea how much I spend (although I'm not in debt).

He pays 50 a month to welfare because I am on assistance temporarily. He's only paid for two months. I have full custody, but my husband goes to school full time, no job, and I am not in school because I am in my 3rd trimester. Can he claim her and receive the large child credit? Does he need my permission to claim her? Does anyone know where I can get these questions answered?
