This problem is putting so much stress on me! He has made it impossible to work. I have called in sick more in the last six months than I have my whole life!!!!!! I make good money and can't afford to leave.

My husband is going into the Military full time, and I will be trying to sell our house. Is there a simple legal form he can sign so that I can make descisions on the house...the title is in both of our names. (eg: John AND Jane Doe). Thanks!!

My hubby and I have a first mortgage, home equity loan, 2 auto loans and credit card debt. We are doing ok - but never have any extra money. We are interested in the combo loan from Countrywide - where they are combined.

I've heard that consolidation can hurt your credit. Will this do that to our credit? Since we are doing good, and just want to lower our payments into one, we don't really NEED to do this, and don't want to cause any credit damage.

Your insights please! :)

Ok, in a nutshell, heres what happened. I applied for an online course - was rejected because i didnt get the necessary pprwk to them in time. Some months later i received a letter from a collection agency, i called & paid a settlement amt that day and was assured that this would not go on my credit report.- this was in writing. Needless to day it IS on my credit report. To say that these were unfair billing pratices would be an understatement. What legal action can i take, if any?

i voluntarily repo'd my car back in 2005, i owe about 7,000 dollars...now that's alot of money to give away, for something i don't have anymore. i'm trying to fix my credit, should i attempt to pay them off or forget about it? i called them and they wanted me to pay the full 7,000 at once and they don't offer any payment plans...what should i do?

I have been offered a job, but I won't be paid for a month, do I stop claiming JSA WHEN i'm paid or when I start work?
It seems more logical to do it when I get paid in a month but the law is not always logical, any advice here?

I saw in the news this morning that her plan for universal healthcare is FORCING every American to get coverage.

1) How does she plan to enforce it when the government cannot enforce people driving without insurance?

2) Did you know that if you cannot afford insurance you can pay a fine according to her plan?

3) Does she NOT realize that the reason why so many Americans does not have health insurance is NOT because they don't want it BUT because they cannot afford it.

4) How would you go about ensuring Americans receive universal health care?

I ruined my credit history by missing the payments, going over credit limit and paying late. :( I cut up all the cards and trying to pay off the cards. I got a summons on the door. I went to court to deny the claim. I only owe $300. They still have not sent the validation documents. They gave me a 2nd court date (it's next week) to prove my case. Yesterday a got a letter in the mail from the debt buyers with the judge signature and everything saying that I didn't show up in court & the court now order me to pay $1500. I called the court and they didn't no anything about the letter & they had nothing to do with it. Is this legal?? Any advice??
