My hubby and I bought a 1b/1b condo in June of 06 and were planning on staying there for years. The market dropped and we got pregnant! As you can imagine, I don't want to be prego living on the third floor! Or raising twins in 840 square feet! Other condo's our size are going for 195,000, and we bought for 211,900 (yes, it was once a good deal). We can only afford to pay 10K toward paying off the loan, so we'll need a loan to pay off the rest. We will be buying the busineeses we run in the next few months, so income won't be a problem for the pay off, and we'll have to rent a house for awhile which will also save us some money. Is this smart? What about "walking away"? Does anyone know of any companies that would give us a loan in this situation for 10-15K? We are on a time crunch, so I don't want to offer the condo at 200+ because we want it to sell. Renting isn't an option because our mortgage is 1450/mth + HOA's 140. Renting could cost us about 700/mth. ANY ADVICE!!???

Im starting up my own alcohol delivery service (similar to dial-a-drink), and the only thing preventing me is the distribution, but I had an idea that what if I were to hook up with other take-away/taxi drivers in the area, would they be able to (when avalible) come out and make my deliverys, for a call out charge of some sort? Cheers.

I've received a personal check from ebay, but here(Brazil)there are no representatives of the bank they used to issue it and the local banks charge an abusive tax to withdraw it.So,a friend of mine is going to US in some days and I will endorse the check so she can withdraw it for me,I searched on google and find this info,is it really that simple or I need to write something else?
1. Sign your name at the top
2. Write "Pay to the order of John Doe"
3. John Doe needs to sign below that

Here are a pic of the fron and the back of the check

1986 and kept it through all nine splits, you'd have 1.5 million dollars worth of stock on your hands right now. Something similar can be said of Starbucks stock. In that case, if you had shelled out $1,700 for hundred shares back in 1992 when it first went public, it would be worth $87,000 today! So, all you stock market gurus, what's the secret behind sniffing out these types of stocks while they're still in their " infancies "? C'mon, tell me. I'm dyin' to know...!

I have heard I can do a pay to delete on my charge off. To make a long story short. My ex charged up a credit card we had together and left me with the bill. I was able to pay half of it, but the other half I let go to a charge off. I was sick of his mess. I didnt pay it since reguardless it was a charge off. If I do a pay to delete what are they deleting? The neg. times? The entire account like it never existed? or just the collection company? Can someone tell me what I need to do to start this and what it will do for me. FYI, balance is $581.Thanks

This collection agency called me. I am and was willing to pay it, but they refused to tell me the company that I owed money to. I tried calling the company, but got no answer--only a busy signal. I am going to call them again and write them.

It would save me money to qualify for a loan now, get the new vehicle and then walk away from the current lease, probably about $2-300 a month. I own a home i rent out I am looking to sell and still want to purchase a primary residence. It is crazy that when I realize my debt exceeds my income the leasing company will not help me out. Their answer is to pay the residual and get out of the lease, which is 17K. Any advice or ideas? I was unemployed for a few months this year and am now working just not at the level of income I was at. I have 5K in checking and saving I dont want to use, 15K in credit card debt and 55K in a money market.

Rousey Manufacturing Company was started on January 1, 2008, when it acquired $85,000 cash by issuing common stock. Rousey immediately purchased office furniture and manufacturing equipment costing $12,000 and $34,000, respectively. The office furniture had a 6-year useful life and a zero salvage value. The manufacturing equipment had a $4,000 salvage value and an expected useful life of 5 years. The company paid $10,000 for salaries of administrative personnel and $15,000 for wages to production personnel. Finally, the company paid $18,000 for raw materials that were used to make inventory. All inventory was started and completed during the year. Rousey completed production on 6,000 units of product and sold 5,000 units at a price of $15 each in 2008. (Assume that all transactions are cash transactions.)

Landlord / Tenant situation. My owner / landlord quit paying his mortgage, maybe even skipped town, can't get him.
I've paid him ahead of time for 2 yrs. over $1,000 per mo.

Last Sat. some female knocked on my door, no appointment,
etc. I do not know who she was. She volunteered nothing about who she was, and threw some papers on the concrete. The paper did not look like a court document, but it gave a vacate in 21 days notice.

Am I about to have all my furniture, computer, personal effects, etc. on the street when I come home one day soon ?

Can I go to the local sheriff's department and find out what is going on ?

What is the process ? Can the mortgage company break in and throw my things out before Oct. 15th, my next rent due date ? I obviously plan to vacate then, but meanwhile cannot sleep or work. I think about this all day trying to work.

I have a former friend who is a mortgage broker and 2 years ago when we were going to refinance I allowed him to run our credit for that purpose. Since that original inquiry, he has proceeded to "check up" on both my husband and I by running our credit 4 more times in the past 2 years. These are hard inquires that are negatively affecting our credit scores! I realize that I have an uphill battle with the credit reporting agencies and I'm prepared for that, but who do I contact to report him? It's not only unethical and wrong, but it's highly illegal!
