I'm thinking of career choices and that seems like it would be a good career choice, I was also thinking about social worker.. does anyone have any imput as to how much these jobs generally pay? thank you.

1) Pharmacists are paid 75-150k starting out depending on location and need

2) You can finish a pharmd degree within 5 years if you get into the right school

I not sure but i know this kid that his dad's a Pharmacist and his Mom Is a Stay at Home Mom And They own a Condo in Florida. A Huge house and other Luxury Items

Pharmacist on average gets paid about $100k.
Social Worker on average gets paid about $40k.
There is plenty of opportunity in pharmacy. You do not have to stay as a staff pharmacist forever. The CEO of Walgreens is a pharmacist. There have been high ranking pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry. There are many niches to occupy in managed care.

I was told that you can get $100,000 a year right out of school, with no experience. The only thing is there is no room for advancement in a career choice like this. I have no idea what the research field pays, but this is what I was told recently by a recent grad.

Pharmacist first year usually pays upwards of $90,000. Requires I think 5-6 years of schooling though.
