I enjoy restaurant work, but tired of the 50-55 hr work weeks and nights. Anyone out there been in my shoes and switched careers to something better with only their restaurant management experience?

If you really love the food service part of the job, and are just tired of working nights and weekends, you might consider looking at contract food service. Companies like ARAMARK go into other companies and schools, and run the food service operation for them. Many of these jobs are Monday - Friday with few evenings.

Management skills can be transferred to any career field. Think about what you would rather be doing or what setting you would rather be in and work from there.
