Seriously - I would take drastic measures, take some pretty undignified jobs if I had to etc. etc. before I'd let that crazy $hit happen to my house. What the hell? Didn't people realize that somebody was going to have to pay? Now we see the repercussions were huge. What kind of person would let this happen and how do they sleep at night knowing what a loser they've been?!

I'm wondering, like a month or so ago I was talking to my friends about credit and they mentioned that if you have a credit card with a zero balance and don't use the card for a while then the bank can close the account and in turn seriously hurt your credit score especially if you've had that account for a long time. Is this true? 'Cause I have a few cards with a zero balance due to balance transfers to much lower interest cards.

An acquaintance of mine has a service business and uses Quickbooks to create and track all AP and AR. There really is no database outside of many large excel spreadsheets. He is considering using IRM database because it will interface well with Quickbooks. Can Access interface with quickbooks? Can Access perform AR and AP functions and create necessary invoices and statements to send to clients? Can Access track payables and receivables via queries?

I've been playing this Investopedia.com Stock simulator...to learn more about trading stocks. So far all I have learned is to buy low and sell high ...lol....it's been working out ok, but I want to know more. One question I have is what is an options portfolio? And other little tips or info would be great too! THanks!

Oh...and keep in mind that I am not too fluent in the "stock market lingo."

I know this sounds weird, but I really like E*trade's checking account, but they require a monthly balance of $5000 to avoid a service charge or $200 in direct deposits per month. My current job doesn't have direct deposit, so is there a way for me to set my own direct deposit into the account (using my own money)? Thanks in advance.

Are they required to? Could I work for a specific type of surgeon who doesn't perform abortions, or is it all in the mix?

I'm looking to get involved into real estate after reading many books such as the Rich Dad Poor Dad Series, Real Estate Riches, Nothing Down and Real Estate Negotiating - but I have a few questions.

1.) If I apply for a loan, would the loan be in my mom's name or in both of our names?

2.) Where can I find my local real estate investing club?

Thank you.

i just bid on an item and lost.... however i have also bid on another similar item....and lost as well.....and finally im on my third item....similiar to the first two, which i won. Then i was reading around and i found out that if the other high bidders retract the bid i may become the winner for those and am responsible for my bid. That means i could have up to 3 of the same thing! does anyone know how long these "binding" obligations last? is it like 48 hours or something or is it infinite....like coming back 1 week later to bite me in the *ss

I'm in San Diego staying in one of the rooms of an apartment (two equal sized bedrooms, two full private attached bathrooms and two same sized closets). but my apartment mate, occupying the other room wont pay half the rent. If i go to small claims court can they give him an order to pay half the rent from now onwards. Im sure, to defend himself he is gonna say that i did not pay the rent in past.

Anybody had similar experiences. please help.

Also if i choose not to pay rent and they evict both of us. how does that work???? bcos they are going to ask both of us to pay the eviction costs which i dont want to pay completely.

Again any experiences with that please help.

I am stuck on this question for my assignment, can anyone help me out ???

Here it is:-

You are holding the deposit for an exchanged property in your agency trust account. It is about to settle and your bookkeeper informs you that there has been an overrun in promotions against what was originally agreed to in the agency agreement.
On further examination you see that the reason why there has been a cost overrun was due to a placement of an advertisement in an extra publication to what was originally agreed. This was done at the request of the vendor. Explain what you would do.

Alright, I know how to do a money order, but, my question pertains to different ways to pay with a money order. OK, let's say my item I'm paying for on E-Bay is like $469.00

My credit card has a limit of $300. So, could I pay like $250 of it with my credit card, and then the rest with cash? Or, do places prefer you to pay with only one type of payment?

Any information would be appreciated! And only information from those who know... not someone making a guess, etc.

Thanks in advance!

I have been troubled because my wife had lots of debt before we got married. I am now building my credit, but somehow, I am worried that because we have a joint account to which the debt is associated. Will I be 50% responsible for any debt owed, or will I only be responsible for debt incurred after the marriage? This has been on my mind for a very long time now, so feel free to explain in full. Your advice is greatly appreciated!
