Especially given the school dictrict is basically so bad it's useless? This is the total including County, School District and Municipality. The School alone is $3300. This is PA, what's it like in other parts of country?

He was working as a chef for a catering company onboard a oilrig/boat in |Africa the company is based their too. He recieved a full final wage last month when he should only really have been paid for a week and this month he has recieved another full months wage.
What should we do?
If we were to spend it what would happen.

I know how to keep the records and deduct my supplies and rent, etc and then only claim the rest, BUT do I have to get a tax ID number or an LLC license to do this or can I just do it without those?

I gave $250 as a holding deposit to my landlord on the 20th of July, set to move in Aug. 20th. As of yesterday I decided to not move in because of unforseen circumstances. He called me today to let me know that he was keeping the $250 and he might charge me for the additional 10 day @$45 a day. I looked up Holding Deposits in California and it states that landlords can keep some or all of the deposit if they incur additional costs to rent it.

The previous tenant paid through the end of July and so the apartment has only been vacant for 2 days and being that the manager stated he had other tenants lined up, the apartment wasn't going to be ready until the next week (he was installing carpet and paint), the charges he incurs really are not that high.

Am I entitiled to some or all my deposit back and can he charge me for those days he "doesn't have a tenant"?

Also-- and here's where I got stupid-- there's nothing in writing. No receipt, no lease-- everything was verbal.

My sutdent health insurance denied claims, because my new husband's insurace. They are saying my student health insuracne is not covering when I am listed under my husband's health insurance.....My doctors and hospitals were under "my" insurance, not under my new husbands. My husband re-claimed thru his insurance, but was also denied.... Which place do I need to go first? Should I hire a lawyer? Or file a complaint at Department of Insurance (California)? I am worrying the state agency is so~ slow, and miss right timing to fight against. Anyone has experience with filing a complaint thru state agency, and get it resolved? How long does it take to start their investigation?

The NYC offer is $6000 more than what I currently make in LA. Given the cost of living of NYC, it seems that I would be making less than what I receive in LA.

When I was first hired here I was hired as the receptionist all I did was answer calls. As the course of the years now I have taken on many different duties.

Such as keeping the company Presidents agenda and screening all his calls.

Coordinate all of my company’s travel which my company consist of very intensive travel (RACE SUPPORT) I handle all hotel agreements and corporate accounts.

Order all of the office & kitchen supplies.

Handel some HR forms for new hires.

And answer all the over flowing calls still.

Right now my job title is Admin assistant/ Travel is that correct?????

I went to Homebase a couple of weeks ago for some garden furniture. They checked on their computer and said they have them in the warehouse, i paid and ordered them, they would ring me when they got them to the store. Called them today and they have sold out. I spoke to the manager who said they had called 45 people in the area but missed me. OK that`s human error, but #1 How much money do they have sitting in their bank account earning interest from orders they know they cannot fulfill? #2 They belong to Argos who manage to know what stock they have available when you order. #3 do any other companies you know do business like this?
I`m going to write to their head office but i just felt so irritated by this way of doing business that i would like some views.

i have a visa and my grandmother told me that i have to wait and keep paying the bill before the card company puts money on it but i want more money now! is there a way were i can transfer money from my savings account into the credit card or something!!!!!! lol the first day of school is right around the corner so i spend alota money in hollster in american eagle lol i have a reputation to live up to! i had 500 bucks on that card but i have 3,000 dollars in my savings! i really want more money on that card! is there a way

I recently moved and had to get a new job due to the location. I have been here for four months and absolutely hate it. I don't fit well into the position I was hired for based on my background and experience. I can do the job because its easy, but I find myself bored to tears even after prodding all my coworkers for additional work. I am considering looking for another job, but I know there are other positions within this company that I would be a better for in.
Should I consider trying to switch departments after only four months or instead search for another job completely?
If you think I could switch departments, how should I approach my boss about it? Should I just be blatantly honest?

does anybody know of anyone/company that has just a flat fee. lets say in my example we bought the home for 250k and will have to pay 700k. what if some sort of middle person/company set a contract for 450k. ..that way its a win win. the homebuyer saves 200k and the middle person will end up with an extra 200k. you get more customers who would otherwise go to other places, comin only to you. does anyone else think that this is a good idea. (please no responces from bank personel trying to be richer than god)

My job is SO boring to me! Ive been at this company 4 years, it's a very good company which is why i'm still here. I dont see myself moving, i also dont see myself loving any job. I am in school for a masters in communication, I work in publishing sales, more on the support side of things. my brother lost his wallet on the way home from jail. he does weekends. anyways it had his social security card and state i.d. he is only 19 so he has very good credit. we are worried that somebody might take advantage of the situation and open a banking account with his name since they have everything they need to. or they will do something to mess up his credit. what can we do to get his stuff back and prevent people from messing up his credit.
