I have been researching filing Chapter 13 bankruptcy, but have had estimates of cost anywhere from $700 to $9,500. Nobody can seem to tell me until they start into the process. I know my case is fairly straightforward, I have no real estate or property to protect other than a car, and have other debts as well, but nothing unusual or elaborate.

I understand some of the fees are included in the Chapter 13 plan and paid over time.

I just want to know approximately how much I have to come up with in the beginning, out of my pocket, to file.

Does anyone have any real experience going through this, with the new laws the way they are now?

We want to buy a condo and stay there for 5 years or so--we would like to make some $$ when we sell it---is now a good time to buy---or should we wait a few more months for house prices to go down more? Or do you think they'll go up?
I am clueless about these things...

Thank You

he told me a story that a man has been making over 1 million each year since 3 or 4 years ago. That is the way a direct selling sales speaks always.
I did a research on the web and there was one article of WFG says they wish to help each of our advisors make above 50,000 each year. That means many are making below 50k, right? shall I join?

Sausage Maker: Not enough money to make both ends meat.

Taxidermist: Can't afford enough food to even stuff himself.

Physician: Is starting to really hate apples.

Psychaitrist: Talks to himself for 50 minutes twice a week.

Funeral Director: Business is the only thing that's dying.

Got any more, folks?

I checked on a organization in CA, they have a 501 c 3 status, but they told me they share their 501 c 3 with an organization in NV, but NV isn't listed anywhere. Is this legal? Do they file tax returns jointly or seperately? I wanted to donate to them, but something doesn't seem right.

I know I don't pay taxes to the US because I'm here on a visa. But I'm pretty sure I need to pay taxes to Canada. Does anyone have any information about this, I am totally lost when it comes to this subject and I don't want to end up owing an insane amount of money later on. I've searched websites and tried calling different numbers with absolutely no luck. Can anyone help me?

I am a full-time struggling college student going on her 2nd year.I am employed, but I don't make enough sometimes to pay my bills. My father helps me out when he can, and my mother is unemployed, so mostly I take care of myself. I am in desparate need for money right now, and I seem to have no other options. My rent is due and I am overdrafted in my account by $200. I tried looking for loans, but I never get approved. I also have 4 payday loans that I just can't simply pay off. Is there a way for me to recieve some fast cash so that I can pay my rent and take care of my loans? anyone with suggestions please let me know!

It would just be my labor (when parts are needed, I would sell at cost). I'm wondering what kind of tax benefits I could get from it. I live in a small area where everyone knows me, and calls me for all things involving computers. I am the IT Manager for a local factory. I get calls all the time from charity's, library, museums.. ect. I would like to do a service to the community, but I would like to get something out of it as well. Anybody have any experiences with no-profs or tax right offs?

I have no credit but was issued a credit card through my work (I'm a cashier at a department store) in order to receive my 20% discount on the merchandise I buy. My credit limit is $100 and I went over by $3.94 this month. Will this hurt my credit and will there be a fee? Also how long do I have to wait to request that my credit limit be increased? $100 is such a small amount and with the paychecks I earn, I can surely afford to spend more than that.
