Have you settled the judgment?

Not only do unpaid judgments stay on your credit report longer than 7 years, they can be renewed.

Judgements are VERY VERY bad to a credit score. After it drops, your score will go up to around where you want it to be. If it doesn't happen immediately, it will happen within 2-3 months depending on how quickly it is reported and reflected in your report.

It should go up when the judgment falls off. Anything else bad on there?

Edit: the person below me is correct, the judgment will only fall off if you settled it. It doesn't go away if you don't pay it.
