Has the Federal and State Tax withholding been doubled in Georgia?

Have you changed your withholdings recently? Check with your HR department to make sure that your withholdings are correct. There are tables on both http://www.irs.gov and GA's comptroller's office which calculate the correct withholding amounts.

Don't know about State withholdings, but Federal withholdings are universal throughout the country and have not changed significantly this year from last.
